Birth Doula Services and Cost

• Two prenatal visits in your home

We are on call for you from 3 weeks before your due date, or sooner if you experience signs of early labor.  We have back up doula support in the event of an extraordinary circumstance that would not allow your doula to be at your labor.

Each of our doulas has a sliding scale fee, ranging from $400 - $700.  Mountain Doulas believe that every woman who wants a doula should have one.  Please inquire about reduced fees for cases of financial hardship.

      Postpartum Doula Services and Cost

Families contact postpartum doulas in a few different ways. Some families know in advance that they would like support after the baby is born, will meet with a doula prenatally and discuss a postpartum plan of visits.  The postpartum doula can also help with the hospital to home transition. In many situations, families don't realize they need a little extra support or advice until after the baby is born and will call a doula as needed.  Postpartum doulas offer a variety of flexible schedules for providing support, which can include full days, part days, overnights and weekends.  Postpartum doulas generally charge an hourly fee for their services, and many base their fees on a sliding scale.  Each doula will have individual ways of making contracts and exchanging fees.
